As a teacher in Taiwan, I observed many of my students across majors and genders having their own blog. They share their blogs with each other. I also observed that blogs seemed to be as part of the life for the new generations. Young couples created blog for their new born baby, mother having her child in critical medical situation shared her struggles and emotion in her blog, a software engineer shared his traveling pictures and experiences via blog who ended up as a travel writer and quitted his high-paid job….As an old generation, I wonder what makes blogs so attractive and what blogs mean to those blog authors. How do blogs create such passion for them? I would like to hear from any of you about your observation on or passion for the Blogs phenomena?
